New from the Mustang Forums!
Hey guys!
I've recently been looking at purchasing a C3/C3 Stingray, I've been really interested in the affordability of the higher-mileage C3s. I've seen a lot around eBay that are very close to home with excellent body condition and mileage up in the 60-100,000s. I know for a fact that any C3 I buy, especially with mileage such as that, will not run perfect forever and is not completely reliable, and I feel like I'm ready to take that on.
My usual baby is an 06 Mustang GT here.
And don't worry, I'm not here to stir up Ford vs. Chevrolet! I'm just here to learn as much about the C3 as possible before I make a major decision. If anyone here could help me learn the common problems they have, what needs to be checked before buying the car, what should be replaced now, what is a fair price, etcetera, that would be awesome.
Right now I've got a close eye on that one as well as a yellow Stingray at the same dealer.
Hope to be a Vette owner soon!

Welcome to the Forum and hope you find a nice C3 
Check out the C3 forum http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-general-119/ those guys can give you all the info you'll need. Love the Mustang and no reason to give it up, a stang and vette in the garage now that would be great.

Welcome to the forum! Like everyone has said - the C3 Forum will have plenty of post of what you need to look for (common question on all forums). That's a nice looking Mustang and I agree there's no need to get rid of it - both nice cars in their own right.
