Default Kinda New

Hey Guys!

My names Koda (if you couldn't tell). I've been a member for a few years but never had much cause to post. I own a few cars:
98 Camaro, blk, A4, slp headers, and loudmouth 2
05 Dodge Ram SRT-10, blk, stock
09 CBR 600RR, Blk Grn

and now Ive just added a 2008 Victory Red Corvette, it's an M6, with black interior, Z51 suspension, nav, HUD, targa, fully loaded, and C6 Z06 rims, with 2,000 miles (nope, not missing a 0 on the end of that :P). Not to shabby for the catch of 35k.

It's gonna be our "once and a while" car so I wanted a good solid cover that will keep dust of but not scratch the paint. My wife found this http://www.eastcoastvette.com/showpr...ond-5-05-10-c6 . Seems pretty good. Just curious if any one as one, or any other suggestions. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance now onto what you really car about,

Pictures!

And a picture of my entire stable!

Congratulations on scoring a great car!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as car covers go, they're not "real big" around here. Only because it's almost impossible to use one without scratching the paint so they are primarily used for long term storage and outdoor parking cases. That said, there are some vendors offering nice ones here and of course you'll get plenty of differing opinions. I suggest just head over to C6 General and ask OR do an Advanced Search for car covers in C6 General. Good luck and have fun.

Congrats on the new Vette - If I were you, instead of the car cover, I would make sure the one car that you garage all the time is the Vette (along with the bike of course.) Keeping it out of the rain and snow is key, especially if you are driving it as a weekend/cruise car. Enjoy!

Thats what me and the wife were thinking, we just wanted to keep dust off. On the other hand dust wipes away, scratches don't. You can be assured that the vette (and the bike) are garage queens.

Default Welcome

Congratulations on your new Corvette & Welcome to the Forum! Lots of good information & knowledgeable Corvette owners here!

I keep mine under a Flannel cover to keep the dust off - Doesn't seem to scratch it.
