1966 info help
Can anyone help me with a number that is on my 66 427 vette Rear End, the casting number seems to be correct at 3871375, but the build number is OH092? W9E1. The build number doesn't match anything that I have found on the net, except for later model cars, but as mentioned the casting number on the same back cover seems correct for that year. Everything else on the car seems to be correct, it is a non optioned 427 with muncie 4 speed and presume a positract rear end. The car has developed a jerking in the rear end that can be felt through the floor when you take off from a stop while turning slightly, but seems ok when driving straight. Can enyone help please with the number and what the problem coud be.
regards Mark from Australia
