Thanks for allowing me to register. My forum name is 36 Vette which is kind of the story of me and Corvettes. I'm a long time hot rodder and am just finishing the nicest street rod I've built. It is a 1936 Chevy Master 2Dr with 84 Corvette suspension front and rear, 94 Corvette LT1 and AT and 58 Corvette tail lights molded into the rear fenders. There are enough Corvette moving parts that I thought I should have access to this galactic center of Corvette knowledge. I'm having some issues with braking but they may not be related to the Corvette parts so I will save that plea for help until I do a more thorough diagnosis. Thanks again for allowing me on board even though I don't own real Corvette.
Jerry
Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very sounding Rod!! Would love to see some pics and learn a little more about it. Good luck with it and hope you enjoy the Forums.
Just FYI, you can post pics by using an internet hosting site. Most of us use photobucket. It's free and relatively easy. Other sites will work too like Flickr, tinypic, etc. Here's a tutorial for photobucket from the Help Forum if you want to try it:
First, thanks to all for making me feel welcome even though I don't own a real Corvette but an assortment of Corvette stuff hung on my 36 Chevy.
I tried to load some of my pics under "My Corvette Photos" but nearly 24 hours later no pics and it says Pending Approval. Does it typically take that long to 'approve' photos? I'll be patient. Most sites have volunteer staffing and I understand it can get overload quick. I'd like to load some more on there but could provide links to My Picasa3 site. I've got nine years worth of build pictures probably of little interest except to me to reinforce perseverance. Perhaps I will try to consolidate the few best from ea. stage of the build. I'm about ready for the road except for a cooling problem and a brake problem. Currently waiting for an AFCO aluminum radiator so I can get it running again.
Anyway thanks again for the welcome. I hope to be able to contribute occasionally but really am here mostly to learn.

Like I posted above, if you have an internet hosting site you can just paste a link to your photos directly into your posts, like this: (not my car, just an example) You can click on the "Quote" button and look at what the link looks like with the "IMG" and "/IMG" codes.
