I've been lurking on this forum weekly, daily...hourly
since June.
Previous Miata owner (95 B&T) and miata.netter, sold a while back to get into a 2004-2006 bmw 330 vert, but didn't make the leap. Then considered z4's. Then changed direction and came within hours of a 2006 GTO, while at the same time toying with a 2008 Bullitt.
But after spending a few months here, reading and learning as much about C5's as possible, I have decided I'm going with a corvette -- just have to decide between a 2001 / 2002 vert, or a 2002 Z -- I am a ragtop man at heart, but really, really like the FRC-ness of the Z, to say nothing about performance.
Autotrader prices in my area, southern New Jersey (Philadelphia TV), seem borderline ridiculous when I read what some of you newer C5 owners have been paying.
