Using LS2 in custom high speed aircraft
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a nice 2005 LS2 engine for use in a small two seat airplane, so I guess it's like the car in a way.
I came here because I hope to get some advice on different drive train parts and how they can go together for my use.
Please let me know which of the forums on here would be best for sharing technical information of this sort. Thanks.
For starters how about a dumb question, which C model is 2005, C5, C6, etc?

Interesting use of an auto engine. If you are looking for basic, natural aspiration power then C6 Tech/Perf is probably the best place. If you're looking for forced induction then C6 Forced Induction is the place. Good luck. I'll keep an eye out for your discussions, should be interesting. Enjoy the Forums.

Welcome to the Forum and the best of luck with your project It never even occurred to me that a LS motor could be used in that type of application. It would be very interesting to see your plane and the project to it's completion.
