Bought my first vette. A 2001 MY z06. Did not want a z06 specifically but that was the body style that I've always liked. Just couldn't pull the trigger on a targa top. Actually wanted a 6 speed and bigger fuel tank than my 110 C.I. VTX neo (motorcycle). I found it in the z06.
My first experience with a corvette was my senior year in high school. Got a call from the owner of a local Chevy dealership asking if I wanted a job. Spent the summer adding rear end clutch lube and taking every vette that was offloaded for it's "testdrive".
apppreciate the welcome. I'll be asking a lot of questions. (But I know many have already been asked and answered so I'll do a "search" before rehashing a lot of old issues.)
