Hey everybody.....I'm new to the site. I've been lurking around here while I was looking for my "new" vette. I just picked up a white 93 with 34K original miles. I have owned two before (a C3 and a C4) and I'm looking forward to this one. I looked at a few C5's, but the C4 has always been my favorite. It seems to be in pretty good overall condition.....it needs some things but that's what I wanted.....a little bit of a project. It has been pretty heavily modified. It's got a 383 stroker kit with forged rods and pistons, supercharger, AFR heads, Crane cam and roller rockers, etc. I got all the documentation for all the work (over 20K in receipts...all done when the car had 26K miles). Drove it home (5 hour trip) and it seems like everything works fine. Needs some cosmetic stuff. I know.......I know........you want PIX.....I'll take some and post them ASAP. I will be asking LOTS of questions so thanks in advance.
and I have a stupid question... what does "Blown40th" mean... I'm sure it means something in corvette language and totally different than what I'm thinking right now.
Welcome, Jennifer! I'm new to this place too..I've been a Ford guy my whole life, and am interested in buying a Corvette, so I'm learning as much as I can from this group...but "blown" in car terms means the car is supercharged, and "40th" I presume to be a 40th Anniversary Edition Corvette.

Correct......sorry about that. It is supercharged and it's a 1993.....it's not the ruby red anniversary edition.......but it's the 40th anniversary year.......and I thought that sounded better.
Congratulations on your latest new Corvette & Welcome to the Forum! As you've already seen lots of great information & knowledgeable Vette owners here!
