hey fellas
been lurking here for a while. i have always loved corvettes since i was young, and my parents bought a new one in 2000 that they still have today.
im selling my harley and will have a budget of about $23,000-25,000. found a few nice 2002 Z06's and 2 nice 2005's that are close to this price. it will be a weekend warrior that i plan to put some nice wheels on and id like to S/C it.
can you guys list some comparisons between the two performance wise? is the older 02 Z car quicker than the 05? which is the better buy in your opinion?
loving the looks of some of your cars with the 19x11f and 20x12r staggered wheels... *drools uncontrollably*

so would any of you rather have a C5 Z06? or a base model 05 C6? of course id rather have a C6 Z06, but im a blue collar guy with a family and bills. how do you think the 6.0 stacks up to the 02 Z car? if its on looks alone, im leaning towards the C6.

Welcome to the Corvette Forum - Lots of great information & knowledgeable Vette owners here! 
I think your best bet is to ask your question in the C-5 or C-6 sections, rather than here in the inroduction section. Lots more opinions will be there than here.
