new guy question
hello just wanted to say hi from virginia and ask a few questions. i have always wanted a vette and am very close to buying a 1982. i know these arnt real desireable but hey it is a vette right. my question is, is it worth the price. its a 1982 with supposedly 47,000 original miles. owner has title to prove miles. he bought it when he was in the marines in 2005 in hawaii. the car is black with im assuming dark charcoal interior but looks black in photos. car looks to be in great shape but he has removed the cross fire intake and put on a aluminum 4 barrel intake and edelbrock carb. car has factory wheels, paints decent, interiors nice shape. i can get the car for $4,500. only thing i was told is the windows dont go up and down very well so im assuming motors?? are they costly and hard to find? what else should i look for on it before i buy it? any and all help will be greatly appreciated
