Back in the saddle again
Hi folks,
one more "old guy" here just brought home my 7th Vette- 2000 Vert, 6Speed-Pewter/Black
First time with a C5, had 3 each of C3's and C-4s over last 35-40 years and have been driving a 2004 Honda S2000 for past 2 years as my "in-between Vettes" car. Nice little car and WAAAAYYYYYY different to drive than the Vette- (there's numbers on the S2000 tach that don't exist on Corvettes)
Driving home I had to keep looking at tach to make sure motor was still running...... I got so used to shifting at 7500-8000 RPM and cruising at 3500 RPM in sixth gear at about 70 MPH. But enuff of that.
I joined here last year but only recently found the Vette so now I'll be more active and especially look forward to all the tech help as even tho I am old Vette guy, still feel like a newbie when it comes to C5's.
