C6 DVD Stupid question

C6 DVD Stupid question
Just purchased a used 07 with NAV and DVD. The dealer didnt have the NAV disk so i pick that up tomorrow. Not sure why you would want a DVD in a Vette but thought i would try it. Cant get it to play even with the E brake on. I am new but what is the deal?
Also i traded in the Porsche for this 400 hp beast. So far i am verry impressed. Looking forward to sharing info with everyone.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your Corvette.
Your Corvette does not play movie DVDs and the 2 slots behind the screen are for; the Navigation Disk and the other is for CDs.

Congratulations on your C6!! If you want to play DVD's there is an after market product that allows it but understand the resolution of that factory Nav is pretty low, like 640x480 I think. You can ask about it in C6 General if interested. Enjoy the car and the Forums.
