Rekindiling the flame

Hi. I'm new to forums but, old with Corvettes. Had a 65 coupe years ago cleaned it up, and drove it for years, really enjoyed it; but as with every thing else "responsibility" (and by that i mean putting 2 kids through college; 1 through law school) demanded the sale. So now I find myself wanting that ride back. Figured this would be the best place to start, thousands of guys, and gals with the same passion, who with all their skills and knowledge would be of invaluable help fanning the old coals.

Thank you all. I have been looking at cars on and off for the past few years but not making much effort to acquire one; however I think it's time to get serious, and with any luck by years end I might have something to drive/work on again.

So what the fred am I looking for.? Thanks for asking. 58,59,60 vert. Something that runs that I can drive and pick apart and redo as I go.
That simple. If it was only that simple.
