...or just south of Baltimore to be precise I have been lurking and learning from the forum for some time but finally joined. I finally purchased my first Corvette back in October of 2010 even though I wasn't really looking for a new ride. Happened across a 2001 Coupe M6 w/ HUD that looked babied. The listing included 24 pictures and the car had a few "lifestyle" upgrades including a pretty solid stereo system and radar jammer. Other than that, the only mod was a Borla Stinger catback system. The owner provided receipts for everyting ever done to the car (oil changes included!) since it rolled off the lot. It felt like he was interviewing me to adopt his car and that he didn't really want to sell it but had to.
Anyway, as the weather starts to break here in the northeast, I have a few plans in mind for the car. Not my first go with a musclecar as I've owned a Buick Grand National, GMC Sysclone, 2 Mustangs, and a 4th Gen Camaro. Nothing stays stock for long!
I look forward to learning more, this forum is full of great information!
