Just joined; brief profile. I'm 65, first Corvette was a '58 that I paid $800.00 for in 1968. Decided to install a 327/350 in 1969. Sold it to a friend who totaled it in 1970 (no injuries, thank God). Bought a used '67, Canary Yellow, 427, 435h.p., in 1970 for $6700.00 (sticker, I believe was $6900.00, odometer about 3000 miles) Sold it in the early '70's when gas hit 75 cents a gallon (panicked). Yes, line up to kick me in the as*. Bought a '75 and owned it for about 6 years. Can't look back, can't change the past. Now looking for a 63 SWC, red/red/. Am enjoying the site. Gary
