Feels like I'm speaking at an AA meeting or something.
Ok. I am new to this forum but not to cars. I started building cars when I was about 5 (not kidding). My dad was a British car nut. Anything from classic Jags to the little Bugeye Sprite.
I'm heading back to the US and have decided it's time to get a Corvette. The wife won't let us use all our savings for a new C6, so I have opted for a C5. Over the next 10 months, I hope to learn as much from these forums as possible.
I've never had my hands in a Vette, but I am sure it has to be easier than any British car with all their wiring problems.
So, help a fellow Vette lover out and answer my posts over the next 10 months so I can find the best Vette for me.
Welcome Patrick
I have been lurking here for about a month and my Lady say's I am addicted. There is a treasure chest full of great info in the forum. I bet I have 50 links to different website and loads of thread replys that I have copied and pasted into different notepad files.

Thanks all. Yeah, the wife is already regretting saying yes. We move back to the US in January or soon after. I already have a Mustang and an Austin Healey waiting for me. No idea where all these cars are going to go. Guess I did end up just like my father. He's pushing 70 and has about 10 cars in his garage.
For all you forum veterans out there; any must read threads?
I just joined today and I have probably already logged about 10 hours on this site.
Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!! Have fun with your research and best of luck on your purchase. The C5 General Forum doesn't have a FAQ section but there are 4 FAQ.info type Stickies at the top of the C5 Tech Forum that you should probably look through. Congratulations on your pending return to the USA. Enjoy the Forums.
