Welcome. Sorry for your troubles. From the sounds of it that car's had a tough life. Did you notice any of this before you plunked down the cash? Maybe you should cut your losses on that car. Blow it out and fund a nicer one that's been kept indoors and has fewer miles.

I don't think it's had a rough life more than it was neglected. The issues I have aren't *that* bad. Leaks are a common problem from searching through the forums. As for the diff troubles, there was nothing wrong when I test drove it. It wasn't until an hour into my ride home it started. I knew about the brakes going into it - it's just one thing on top of another. Cutting my losses and picking up a different one has crossed my mind, but I feel once I get the brakes fixed and the diff fixed I'll be perfectly happy with it. We'll see what happens once it all gets fixed.

Well I've replaced all four rotors and sets of pads, and I must say. I do enjoy driving the car a lot more now. It doesn't smash my face into the steering wheel everytime I even think about applying the brakes, and when I do brake, it doesn't make my ears bleed with that horrible squeal. Just need to get the rest of the car fixed and I'm sure I'll be in love.
