New C4 member here
***My other account was banned due to "a duplicate banned account" funny how I have never been banned before, I did have an old account that I let go and forgot the credentials to sign back in. Im not sure what this is about or if someone of playing jokes. If I get banned again, Ill just use my friends account to post like Ive been doing for several months**

Hey guys, Im a new owner of my second vette, its a project car that Im excited to begin working on. I had an account several years ago but lost my s/n, password and the email associated with it so I decided to make a clean start =D My brother owns a 01 Z06 thats heavily modded by him and I, so I carry experience into my project =D
Now about the car. Its a 1992 Black on Black, auto, completely stock with 110K original miles on it. I picked it up from an old high school friend for $4k. The body is in excellent shape, however the interior needs some love. It has been sitting outside, untouched for 4 years. All the weather stripping, door panels, seat, carpet needs to be replaced. My goal is to make it a street/strip car and driven daily. I plan on putting in a built turbo stroker engine tuned by myself. I live just north of Mile Marker 1 down in Miami and have been thinking of the idea to build the car for top end charges. Ill keep you all posted on that =D
Im researching what ways to control the engine, Im familiar with aftermarket Motec, XFI, BigStuff systems but would like to use the factory system with TunerCat or a like system, any input will be great from you guys. I have access to a dyno and an a 8th mile dragstrip locally.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I havent found alot in the searches on running out the mile tracks. Has anyone ran the mile long top speed tracks in Texas or Florida? Not sure what section I should post this in..

I think I welcomed you already over the weekend so I'll just say Hi. 
For standing mile runs you should probably go in the C4 Forced Induction and C4 Tech. I know there is discussion about it in C6 Forced Induction. A Hinson Motorsports C6 Z06 and a Camaro just crashed over the weekend in Texas.......at over 200! Everyone's okay.
