Hello everyone. I've been reading this forum all week. Finally today I bought a 2008 C6 Vert. 21000km (13000 miles for the US folks) I got the car for $40g which seems like a smokin deal. I traded in one of my toys. A Spyder. I have 2 of these so it wasn't too hard to swallow. I pick it up Tuesday. I'm curious on a GMPP warranty. The Dealer will give me a 2 year, 40000km for $1900.00 for the Select. Is it worth it? The car still has 2 year powertrain from factory.
Welcome to the forum! You'll have fun with the new toy.
The car has low enough mileage and warranty on the expensive bits. I'd save the $1,900 and either self-insure against any issues that may come up or start playing with upgrades...good luck!
Welcome aboard and congrats on your Corvette. There are a couple of folks here you can check out for extended warranty. I would price with them before you purchase.
Welcome! Nice looking car there. I think you will really enjoy driving it. $1900 seems really expensive for a 2 year warranty. If you don't work on your own cars, then it might be worth it. I would see if they can move on that price, though. Good luck with the new car and keep the rubber on the road.

I'm in Canada so we get the shaft on everything. Retail is $2800 for this warranty I got them down to $1900.00. I have no problem wrenching on cars. It still has the powertrain for 2 years so i was just a bit concerned of the electronics and what not.
