Hello All! Its been a while sine I owned a vette. Previous history was a 72 that I totally restored (wished I never sold) but sold 25 years ago with birth of first son. Had a 94 as well. Have a 02 Viper that I bought new, crazy fast, lost of mods. Last 3 years been playing with the Italian's. Talk about CRAZY maintenance cost. Sold the Ferrari and going all american! Next up will be a Ford GT.
So I just found/bought a beautiful 66 corvette convertible. Totally done. 5 binders full of receipts going back 30 years. I am in the Dallas area and I would like a reference for a great mechanic for items I have forgotten how to do. I am also having problems finding shop manuels for a 66. Thanks in advance!

Congratulations on your C2!! Ask the guys in the C1/C2 Forum for sources for manuals or anything else. Could also ask in the Southwest Regional Forum for local mechanic recommendations. Enjoy.
