Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Some of you have heard from me already, so I thought I would make it official. I am the proud new owner of a 2004 C5 Convertible. I have only had it for a few weeks, but already I am starting to make it my own. I am new to forums and to corvettes, so please bear with me. I have always loved fast cars and vettes especially, but being a family man, a 2 seater was out of the question until just recently when I looked around and realized all of my kids are grown and I can finally get what I want. I guess 20 plus years in the Army have a way of sneaking past you without being noticed. I have installed a Vararam CAI and after a shaky start, it is now running awesomely. My next upgrade will be wheels and tires, so please feel free to send me any opinions, recommendations, etc... After that it will be a stereo upgrade, then we will see from there, but this should keep me busy for a while. Anyway, glad to be here and I expect to spend a LOT of time here!
Cheers!
I hear ya I am a family man, and I could not justify a 2 seater, until recently myself, I bought a 05 C6 Convertible. I got a divorce last year and have a SUV and a truck for the kids, so I finally got my Vette, my ex-wife would never let me get.
