First Time Owner in Indy
I have always wanted a Corvette and finally went out and bought one.
I purchased a 2000 C-5, has high mileage, but price was great. I have been going over it with a fine tooth comb and the only things I can find wrong are Targa Top is needing to be repolished and clearcoated, drivers seat bolster has come unstitched, and idler or tensioner squeaks for first 5 minutes of running.
My wife and I were going to get a Corvette and do some vacationing, but I lost her last November and I have been pretty depressed. Since I bought this car, my friend and family have said I have changed for the better. Guess they dont realize that she is there riding around with me.
I really like reading the C-5 forums and all of the info that members have shared. I was reading them before I puchased my C-5 and it helped me decide on which car to buy. Hopefully I will be able to share and provide some information in the future.
I think my first real road trip will be down to Deals Gap to do a little ride around Smokie Mtn Nat. Park area.
