Hello all, Just picked up a 94 coupe for my 17 year old son. The car has 100K miles on it and needs some cosmetic work, otherwise it's a decent car. Something for both of us to work on. I had bought a 88 coupe brand new years ago and wish I still had it. I also have a couple of 442's.
I guess one question would be, What should I replace on a 100K car? I figure shocks for starters and maybe plugs, wires etc. I'll admit the car wasn't kept in a garage I don't believe. Thanks.
Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!! Congratulations to your son on his C4!! Enjoy the car and the Forums.

Best to ask the owners in the C4 General Forum for advice but generally, if you know NOTHING about the car then you should probably replace EVERYTHING.......oil, filter, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, spark plugs and wires, maybe differential fluid.......basically get the car to square one, to where you DO KNOW what you have. Good luck and have fun.
Thanks for the warm welcomes.
Guess my work starts now, got a pin hole leak in the heater hose that sprayed on the right valve cover that actually started a little fire. Luckily I had just parked and had a half cup of soda in the car to put it out.
