Congratulations on your new GS!! That "light" is not a light, it's a sensor for the automatic headlight activation. You might notice that if you start the car in a garage, where it's dark, the headlights will come on. As soon as you back out of the garage into the daylight, the headlights go off and the DRL's come on.
