Hello. My name is Donnie. Im 18 and have been building cars for about 5 years now. This spring i bought a 74 corvette from behind a guys shop. This is my first corvette. It has the L-82 350 engine with the th400 transmisson. the body is in nice shape but the paint has gone bad. the car has only 62,000 miles on it and all original down to the exhaust which only needs new mufflers. The car didnt run when i bought it. it had been sitting for ten years. all i did was change points and put a battery in it and it fired right up. It runs like a million bucks! no joke. I have alot of questions too. right now i am tring to replace the radiator and am having a very difficult time. i could use some advise on taking out the fan shroud. Thank you to everyone and I hope you all can enjoy my progress as I restore the car.

Welcome. I'm an even newer guy to the forum than you are and just bought my first one too. Good luck with '74. That came out when I was graduating high school. I still love it. The lines on your car are beautiful. Have a blast with it.
