Default Hello, new guy here

Well I hope to be getting either a 2000 frc or 2002 Z06 soon. Just having trouble deciding which one. The 2000 frc is only $19500.00 and the Z06 is $24,500. I know the frc is in perfect condition, don't know alot about the Z06. I like to drive so any advice on which one would be greatly accepted. I have owned 7 Z28's of various yrs. And yes I modified all when it came to suspension. Hence my problem of choice of which vette.

Welcome to the site...I bet no matter which one you get you will be happy...both are nice cars! I too am an Fbody owner. Have owned several over the years and still own an 80 Turbo TA Indy Pace Car and a Jamaica Yellow 92 Convertible TA. Love the Fbodys, but the Vette is so much better (which is hard for me to say) and I'm sure after you have yours for awhile you will agree.

Welcome! If it was me, I'd go for the Z06 if a little more performance is what you're after. More HP, different gear ratio and springs, etc. Just a better choice IMHO.

I posted this in another spot so I am going to repost here. If I get a 2000 hardtop and work the motor to about 450 hp and then lets say put 2004 Z06 swaybars and shocks, and some springs I should have a car that would hang or even maybe beat a Z06. For less money than I can buy a Z06 for. Is that reaching to far? Just asking.
