Better late then never!
Well I joined this site about 2 months ago, and it took me until now to find this. My bad! Any way, The C3 corvette has always been my dream car. I've been snooping around this site for about a year now to help me decide what c3 corvette I wanted. Finally made the choice on a 1982. My second favorite body style, with the chrome bumper being my #1 favorite. Didn't go with the chrome bumper because they were out of the price range.
I purchased my 82 back in May for 7k. It only has 24k miles on the original engine. Interior is in excellent shape, and virtually no rust. Does need to be re-painted, but the silver hides the flaws from a good distance. Also, from what I've read many don't like the Crossfire Injection, but I've had no problems with it so far! Hopefully stays that way. *knock on wood*
Many of you were not kidding, this car can be expensive. That still didn't stop me from getting one. Glad I can be apart of this forum and among other Corvette fans!
