New Vette Owner from MD
Hello guys and gals!
Just wanted to do the formal intro and tell everyone about the C5 I'm picking up the first weekend of Sept. Buying from my Uncle in Birmingham, AL who has collected vettes over the years. I am buying from him a 1998 C5, Auto, Silver Coupe. Car is in brand new condition with only 13,700 miles!
It does have some tasteful mods:
-C5 Z06 Chrome Wheels
-Corsa Cat-back exhaust
-K&N Cold Air Intake
-FK45 Adjustable Suspension
-Baer Big Brake kit
-Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
-Few other things I can't remember as our convos have been via telephone.
Anywho, I'm making the roadtrip on Sept.3rd to get the car and trailering it home. I have owned several weekend drivers in the past but most recently had a 2005 Pontiac GTO but needed a change and I think the Vette will be the perfect one.

I checked the Northeast Thread but can't find any info on vette get togethers for MD, Any suggestions? I live right by BWI Airport if you know where that is.
