Default Coming from the Supra world-nowZ06

Hi fellas.

I wanted to introduce myselve. I used to have a Supra Single Turbo for a couple of years but recently it catched a fire due to a bad injector and so I decided to sell it before I go through the hassle of rebuilding everything (only engine bay was damaged) and bought a nice ´07 Z06 in Le Mans blue..
It is pretty much stock except Kooks long tubes, sport cats, Corsa exhaust (man, that thing is loud!) and a Vararam.
As latest mod I got an ECU reflash from Ed Hutchins to accomodate those hardware.(Nice guy BTW)

I have to say it is pretty different to drive compared to the Supra. I had my ride modded pretty nicely: 6765 SP billet turbo, cams, 4" exhaust, 380mm brakes, 6piston calipers (Brembo), Sparco Torinos, OZ wheels etc.. with about 600RWHP..
Now a N/A 7.0 with a nice and broad powerband and instant acceleration w/o any lag.. Still very unusual for me But I get used to it..
The things I want to do is: Lowering it a bit, powdercoat the rims (matte black) and either put a nice cam and Fast intakt on it or maybe a S/C somewhen.. Let´s see.

Here some pics:

Thanks for the warm welcome and the kind words for my ride. Sorry that I have no really nice pics yet. But these have to come soon

I must say that the Z06 is a better handling car than my Supra was. But there are some years of evolution in between those two.
Also the look of the Z06 is more aggressive (what I like) where the Supra was a little more soft (no sharp corners/edges).
BTW: I am struggling a tad about the exhaust under it.-It is a Corsa with a realitively aggressive tone and decelaration "bang bangs". If I would ever consider a different exhaust what would you recommend if I am looking for an also rather loud exhaust BUT with a deeper tone (and also no drone like the Corsa is also already). So it is not the noise level at all but the slightly tinny sound at WOT.

Oh and BTW if someone is from around Stuttgart (Germany) area we could meet up maybe for a beer or so

Welcome!

I visited Germany once many years ago.
What a beautiful country, one I would love to visit again.

You probably should post in the C6 Z06 Forum for exhaust recommendations but for now I'll just mention that Borla just posted this thread showcasing their 3 new systems with a video. Might interest you.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your C6! My C5 has a Borla exhaust that sounds pretty much like what you're looking for.
