Hello Everybody
I'd like to start off by asking, am I the youngest person here.??
I'm 19..
But this isn't all about me, I own a 1979 Corvette L82 that I inherited from my grandparents about a year ago..
Lets just call it a "graduation present"
When in reality, it sat in our warehouse for close to 7 years where nobody drove it or showed it any love
Well, until I came around..I begged and begged to let my grandparents let me have it for summer and they agreed. Amazingly my grandfather forgets things and had told me it was fine and all the fluids were up to date(they weren't) :/ I ran it without oil and KABOOM! Went the engine..
So that brings me to today, months later and $5,000 later.
After that, my grandparents didn't want the Corvette anymore, so they gave it to me as a "graduation present"..
There I was, keys in hand, my first project.
And here I am today, just a 19 year old "kid" with a sweet 79 Corvette, oh..And if your wondering what the $5k was for, well it went towards a sweet 383 stroker
