Hi, I have always wanted a vette for as long as i can remember. I was in the marines and when I got back from Iraq in 2005 I bought a fairly new hyundai Tiburon and when I got back from another deployment in Africa I put that money to use putting a built motor in it along with a blower and a few other goodies. Looking back I wish I saved the money and put it to a vette sooner. Now I am out of the military and have a pretty good job that gives me a company car for personal use so I decided to part out my Tiburon and buy a vette. I am going to use my money from my mods on the tiburon to pay for vette mods I am no newbie to forums, In 2009 i was named member of the year for the tiburon forums, car of the year in 2009 and car of the month in august of 2009 for the Race category. Once I get myself up to speed on the c5 I hope to once again be useful
I found a Yellow 2004 Coupe that I had shipped, it showed up tonight and hopefully I will be taking possession of it tomorrow if it passes smog. I have already started looking into some mods and I plan on doing the c6z51 sway bars and c6z shocks, then moving onto exhaust and engine mods. My goal is to get a 400whp all motor weekend toy that I can take the the track at least once a month.
Since I haven't got the c5 yet, here are some pics and videos of my current car that i am parting out now.
Thanks guys, I forgot to mention its a 6sp that I will hopefully be getting today if it passes smog. Its actually going to be the first manual car ive owned (i can drive stick, i just never owned one).
