Possible new corvette owner!
Hey guys, Billy from Florida here, Theres a corvette (c5 I believe, 1998?) sitting at a nissan dealership that I've had my eye on, been going back and forth with the internet salesmen online, and I have it talked down to 10.8k for the vette, and a 10k trade in for my car (2006 Cobalt SS) and I think this may happen, what do you guys think of the vette? though there isn't any engine bay pics, I'll be sure to bump the thread if I go and take some

Although that deal sounds high to me I suggest you talk to the guys in the C5 Forum and ask for opinions and advice. Good luck, enjoy the Forums.

How much is your cobalt ss worth? 10.8 k plus your trade in? Not sure if that's such a great deal....do a little searching for similar year vettes with that mileage.

That the deal may be too high priced. The price for the C5 isn't bad - but you may be paying too much on the back end with the trade of your Cobalt SS.
Check what your car is worth versus the C5 and see what the difference is and then go from there. Bring a friend who is familar with buying cars and working deals (it's removes the emotion from the process) Remember that most car salesman work the best deal for the dealership and not you.
