Hello Corvette folks!
I'll be following up this post with one on the tech section. I'm typically a classic Pontiac guy and have a 1967 GTO that is my baby. This spring, however I will be inheriting my father's 2002 Corvette. He passed away a couple years ago and the car has been with his widow. It is her wish that I take the car as she can't drive a 6 speed and there's too much emotion tied into it. It's a really nice example and my father took really good care of it. I think it has less than 20K miles on it. The problem is, it's been mainly sitting for 4 years since my dad didn't take it out too much when he got sick. I'm excited to enjoy and preserve it when I get it shipped this spring.

Welcome to the Forum!!!!! Sorry for the loss of your dad. 
That's a hard way to get a car but it's good that he enjoyed it and took care of it and now you can carry on the tradition and keep it in the family. Best of luck, enjoy the car and the Forums.
