Hi,

Thanks for the response, but there seems to be some confusion..... most likely from my end. I am a new member from Carrollton, Texas as of yesterday (11/29) and I think there is also a new member from Texas that joined this forum about the same time yesterday. The below thread is what I am trying to post and need feedback on it. As stated, I am new to the forum and am not familiar with the posting process. Any information that can be passed along to me to properly post my info is appreciated.

Warm Regards,

Tommy Hopcus

Hello everyone ....... I stumbled onto this forum while doing a Google search and was pretty impressed with some of the discussions.
I am the original owner of a 1993 Corvette that has been garaged since 1999 and driven only 4,500 miles in the last 12 years. About 6 months ago I had to park the car outside due to lack of garage space. The car has been trouble free the entire time since it was new. About 4 weeks ago I started driving the car every day and have put about 500 miles on it since then. On Wednesday November 23rd, I got in the car and it started normally. However, it only stayed running for a couple of seconds and shut off. Now, the engine turns over normally, but shows no signs of trying to start. I checked all the fuses that appear related to the fuel pump, injectors, coil module, ECM, ignition, engine, etc. I checked (the fuse block on the passenger side of the dash and the 2 fuse blocks located near the battery). The fuel pump and the fuel injectors appear to activate when the key is turned to the ON position and stop after a couple of seconds.
NOTE: It rained the night before the incident occurred.
NOTE: I also tried the spare ignition key as well. I experienced a problem ony 1 time due to a security issue with the key about 15 years ago.
Any help or suggestions is certainly appreciated.

Wonder how the fuel lines look? If it did rain I doubt it could of gotten into the engine area unless the hood was open. There could be water around the spark plugs though causing it not to fire...
