Well thought I should introduce my self, and say Hello to all.
I have been lurking around here for about 3 weeks now since the puchase of my first Corvette. I have been pursuing one for quite a while. I finally found it on the 12th of November.
It is a 2000 Convertible. 6spd, 50,000mi on her. Pics in my Avatar.
It did have a few boltons nothing outrageous. Hypertech, Cold air intake, Billy Boat "bullet series" exhaust, Aftermarket wheels 20'sR
19"'sF, Crossdrilled rotors, I believe he told me a short throw shifter???
Of course it came with all the gremlins. So since the 12th I have done the following:
Fix both headlight motors.....GRRRRIIINNNDDD! LOL
Fix dim climate controller
Replace corroded factory Pass.Seat plug, now works wonderfully
Change all fluids, brake, clutch etc....
Fix horn in sterring wheel
replace the white top with a nice new Twill2 Black top
Refilm all the windows
Adjust e-brake
Fix rocking seat problem
Shift eliminator mod
Full buff and wax
Polish up exhaust, yes even that....LOL
Reflash BCM with Tech2 to get rid of the Z49 Canadian option, now I can turn off the frikin twighlight mode
Complete detail, and shampoo carpets
I think thats it for now. LOL!!!
But I have to say I would have never got some of this stuff done with out the help of this site. A big thanks to everyones usefull post's and info.
I see a lifelong passion with this car, and hopefully many more in the future.!!!

First thing I did was pull it in the shop, get a note pad, went around it, and started making a list of issues. I figured fix it all now; before I even start to drive it.That way I can enjoy it more. Fortunately it came with the new top so no expense there, I just had to figure out how to install it. Not bad but a little puzzling at first.
I still need to get all the chassis grounds ran down, cleaned, and dielectric greased. I did get the two large connecotrs under the hood, and the ones indside the doors behind the carpet. But all in all its ready to go.
