Default oil changes 2007 C6

I am planning on doing my own oil changes and wanted to see if there is a need for a special roller jack to use that will fit under the car.
I saw a 1 & 1/2 ton aluminum "racing" jack at harbor freight tools and it was only about $60.00.
Or is there a better way to go about changing the oil & filter? (ramps?)

Welcome to the Forum!!!! I think most of us use various ramps, some homemade (like me), others various store bought brands. Some even do it without raising the car at all by just turning the front wheels and reaching under the car from the driver's side. I tried that and couldn't manage it, and I have long arms.
