The youth
Hello, I will start out with this. I am 17 years young and that by default makes me a pain to all of you, I don't know everything and I admit that I make stupid choices.
Now onto my intro. I do not own a corvette, I want one and plan on buying one before summer. I want a c4 vette between 86-94 year model, I would love an LT1 vette but i don't have that kind of money.
I plan on spending a max of 7,000 buying a vette, and a little left over for fixing up and TLC. I do not however want a project car that is not running.
So far as cars go I know more then most but less then most of you, I own a Saturn sc2 and have done most major repairs myself on it. So I'm handy with tools.
I am not expecting to have the most powerful or nicest vette, just a starter vette. I would love a manual tranny but I doubt I can afford more then the auto vettes.
Oh I also own a 300zx 1994. It's a total loss and I will be putting money towards a vette vs. repairs to the zx.

Welcome to the Forum!!! Nothing wrong with being 17 as long as your head is screwed on straight. Good luck with your search and purchase. The guys in the C4 Forums will help you any way they can. Enjoy the Forums. Ooooops, maybe just considering your age.

Thanks for th welcome, making another thread over in the c4 area would be kinda thread whoring wouldn't it? I mean I just joined so making two threads seems like others may take it as a noobish thing.
Also I'm irish so anyway. After all within my own home is better then out at a party drinking

Intros here is just for introducing yourself. The Moderators don't like too much discussed here beyond the introductions. Again, good luck and have fun.

Welcome to the Forum and we are very glad to have here. You can find a nice C4 with $7,000 and it won't be a project car. Take your time and find the best car you can find with your money. Good luck with your search
