Just a bit overwhelming.....bought my first Corvette at Kissimee and it has yet to arrive. Doing a bit of research brought me to this forum with it's wealth of information. It does seem that we are stewards for these exquisite automobiles made right here in the USA. With that in mind, reading some of the posts, I'm a bit worried that everything is ok with this '63 Split Window fuelie. A couple of questions to start with, if anyone can answer them. Feeling around the wheel wells all that I could feel were bonding strips. Does this mean that it most likely was or wasn't in an accident? What kind of fuel do you recommend be used? One website recommened racing fuel....do you really think that is necessary? Is there anything in the C2 that lends itself to particular attention for maintenance? Thanks!
Welcome to the Forum!!! Congratulations on your split window fuelie!! Best to address any questions directly to the C1/C2 Forum. The owners there will be able to advise you. Enjoy the car and the Forums.
