Hello from KS/MO KC! :D
I'm from KC and have been browsing through these forums for a while now and thought to make an account finally. I actually enjoy searching and reading so I'll try my best to not start up nooby question threads too much, but I can't guarantee anything 
I am now in search to find my 1st vette(C5), and words can't describe how excited I am!!!!!
I have a 98Z28 M6 and am in process of shining it up w/ changing all the fluids and shocks and getting ready to sell it.
I had a huge battle with myself trying to decide if I wanted to go the Luxury(Infiniti or Lexus) route or get into another muscle car(Vette or GTO).
And tell you the truth I'm still doubting myself, but I've been told the C5 is night and day different than the F-body. I know the GTO is much more comfy and 10x better interior but it just doesn't have the sexy exterior, don't get me wrong I don't dislike it, just doesn't have the "Jaw dropping factor" IMO
I bought my F-Body when I was 17 and it was super fun for a teenager and still is, but as I'm almost 23 and will be commuting 30miles each way to work/school, comfort and reliability and the interior have a huge impact on my decision.
Any thoughts of your C5, would be greatly appreciated it!

I'm looking at two local ones which one is an auto(not what I'm looking for) and one is a manual but has 85kish on it which is much higher than I'd like to purchase, but gonna go look at them anyways.
I might have to do what I did with the Z28, search everywhere, fly to it and drive it back. It's a fun road trip anyways
