my first corvette
hello, don thompson here from charlotte n.c., 54 years old(young) and big race fan of all types. built many hot rods from 69 chevelle 396,93 transam, then my 96 camaro with 396 stroker and 40k in go fast parts. that car was a beast, but,could no longer keep street legal.
it had to go.but, my dream car has always been a zo6, after 2 long years of being powerless, i found my zo6. 2009,cyber grey,5200 miles,i have since added front splitter and side rails all painted cyber grey,looks fantastic!!!! waiting on hre rims. as you can tell, i love this car,and i have descovered,this car can get you hurt playing in cold weather, i should have started reading this forun earlyer. the computer system as much i hate to admit this, saved my butt.......more on that later,i have many things i want to talk about,but im a finance mgr for local toyota store and i get busy and time gets short, but just a few questions, can a bose system be added, 1lt package, rear rims show signs of rubbing on the inside? any ideas? thank all of you,i have learned so much about my zo6 from all of yall, look forward to learning a lot more!!!

Welcome to the Forum!!! Congratulations on your C6 Z!! Enjoy the car and the Forums. 
Your Z must be a "1LZ"....1LT applies to the base C6. I don't think you want to even mess with the Bose stuff, many just toss it anyway and go after market and I think you will be happier doing the same. JMO of course. As for the wheels, can't imagine what that's about. Best advice is just post in the C6 Z06 Forum and ask the owners who know the cars best. Good luck.
