P1416
I have an 03 and I'm getting the check engine light. Using the OBD/ DIC, I see the P1416 code but I don't think it the check valve. The pump itself is not running when starting cold.! I'm not getting the trouble code for the pump only the check valve. I cleared the code, started the car, ran it around the block turned it off and checked for codes, No PCM codes. Went for longer ride (15 miles) check for codes and had the p1416 code. could it possibly be the O2 sensor? If so where is it?
Also:
Does anyone know of a way I can determine if the pump is dead or if its a control problem. How do you get to the pump? Do I have to remove the headlight assy? or the entire nose.
