Default New to restorations

Hey guys, great site!

So I've recently discovered the amazing world that is Corvettes, especially the classics. I'm very interested in learning about restoring a C2 or C3. I've also heard great things about the C5 and the '99 in particular. Right now I'm torn between starting a restoration of a C2 or buying a C5, but I would love to hear your input. What would you recommend for a newcomer to Corvettes?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I say buy the C5, but I'm prejudice. Post your questions on the C5 and C1/2 forums for more feedback.

Welcome to the Forum!!! Start a discussion in the C1/C2 Forum and the C5 General Forum. IMO, if you want to drive the car, then get a C5. If you want to work on the car, often as much time as driving, then get the C2/C3. Good luck. Enjoy the Forums.

with Rick but as prejudice as we all are - if possible look at the C6 - they are great - what Corvette isn't. It's all personal preference, can't go wrong either way. Good Luck
