Hi my name is Vince I am from Edinburg, Texas. I bought a 1986 Corvette. This will be my third Vette. I had a 1981 Vette that took me more than six years to fix up, just the way I wanted, new engine, new paint and so on. I got hit by a drunk driver in March 2004 and messed up my vette and me. It took me three month to be able to walk and do things, but I got back on the road and I bought a 1973 Vette. Due to the injuries from my first vette I was not able to do what I wanted to the 1973, I did a frame replacment and some other stuff, but I ended up selling it to my friend who wanted to buy it for his son to fix up. I went and bought a 1986 vette that is just right. All I have to do is drive it. It is a 4 speed, has minor cosmetic stuff, high miles but just right for me to drive. I can do minor stuff but I can not work on cars like I used to. I am not a mechanic, just a do it yourself person. I
put some LED tial lights on the 1986 but they do not seem to blink. The lights turn on but who know. Thanks for letting me join.
