Olds guy buys first Corvette

First time Corvette owner at age 55. I bought a 1970 Stingray coupe that is in transport to me as I write this.

Been a life long Oldsmobile guy, have owned many 442's, Cutlasses and a few H/O's. Recently sold a low 9 second 455 Olds powered 78 Starfire drag car. I still own 2 '79 H/O's. I also have a customized '09 Harley Low Rider.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will post pics as soon as the car arrives. It is a 2 owner Monza red with black interior car with a 300 HP 350 and M20 4 speed. I believe an AM/FM radio is its only option, 64,124 original miles.

Thanks everyone! I look forward to learning about my car from all of you. I plan to do some engine compartment detailing as well as fixing any small issues the car has.

Is there a good restoration book on the market that focuses on C3's?
