New vette owner :)
The car has 36k miles on it and the engine is tired. I just recently changed the the intake to an aluminum Edelbrock performer, Edelbrock 600cfm electric carb, removed the air cleaner housing and replaced with an open air filter concept, plugged the EGR, new cap, rotors, and 8mm wires, new water pump, timing chain, timing cover, valve covers.
The valley actually looked pretty good with just a slight build up of carbon.
I know the factory paint for the motor is corporate blue but I decided to go back to chevy orange. My valve covers and timing cover are orange too. Not a big chrome fan but there will be 1 or 2 small pieces that will be chromed just for accent. Everything else is orange and gloss black.
Great news is the underside of the car has held up real well since this car has lived in New England all its life.
Look forward to sharing my resto journey with everyone and I sure am open to any suggestions. Ttyl
