Finally got my vette
For years since i was a kid i always dreamed of getting a brand new vette! I've driven lots of other sports cars before i got to this point.
The C6 vette is a GREAT car! I don't understand all the negative reviews of the car's interior. Anyway Im from Corpus Christi, Tx and enjoying a Inferno orange 6mt Coupe with MSRC.
I spent most of my driving life in japanese sports cars, doing HPDEs with PCA, and auto x with local SCCA
Old 240Zs 280z 280zxs, 350z, 370z, EVO 8, a whole array of miatas, S2k,
Then i went out and picked up a C5 Z06 and liked it, but i could see the difference with the interior and LONG shift throws, Still i liked the car ALOT.
Now picking up my new C6, it seems everything is great, great suspension, great shifter, and great power. If there was anything i'd change is better gear ratios, but maybe a diffy gear change could fix that in the future.
Can't wait to hit the track!!!!

After owning the string of sports cars i've been blessed to own, the Corvette really is in a league of its own. I did have a oppurtunity and purchasing a used viper for 45k, a used Zo6 for simular money, and a 10' base with 5k miles for 40k.
I spent the extra money because i want a car that will be mine....cradle to grave....getting married in october and this vette will be the that sticks to me.

Thank you! My fiance really egged on the vette purchase..haha...first thing she told me was its not loud enough...lol! But I'm happy with the stock exhaust for now....just gunna enjoy it for a while.
