Hey everyone...2nd post is my intro first post was asking a tech question but anyway...
Kind of a new guy to the Corvette world, my father has had an '82 Collectors Edition since '89 that he recently needed to sell so my girlfriend and I were fortunate enough to be able to work out a deal with him.
This car is what got me interested in anything with a motor when I was younger...This is my first adventure in the Chevy world, I have owned to different newer Mustangs over the past few years...I currently own a 2004 GT and had a 2007 GT but after some interesting events I put a hole through the side of the motor...My plan is to slowly build the Mustang but leave the Vette originals, the Vette has 29k on it and has sat in my fathers garage for the past 10 years needed some work here and there and never made it out on the road but has been run etc...
Some pictures from a few weeks ago, since these I have replaced the broken mono spring in the read so the car sits properly now...
And...The enemy...Don't hate on me to hard...
The 2004
The 2007 that I no longer own...The day I got rid of her
And the reason why...Stock motors don't like boost and bad tunes...
That's a beauty w/very low miles. Great purchase and it's still in the family. I totally agree on leaving it stock. Change all the fluids incl brake. If you're close to Carlisle check it out end of Aug.
