Default noob with noob question

Hello all,

I'm traditionally a camaro guy (yea, i know what most of you think of us). I had an 02 z28 with kook's lts, billy boat exhaust and some other tweaks, making it a solid high 12 car.

Anyway, a lady ran a red light and knocked my car in to a tree and another car (I would have driven right through the wall of a **** store if not stopped by the tree).

So now I'm in the market for a new car. I'm looking at a used 03 Z06 at the moment and working with the seller. This car is a lemon law buyback. I had my mechanic run the pc, and no problem codes coming back. Still, I feel like I might be buying in to trouble with this car. But I really like it, so I'm torn. Here is the description from the seller. Any thoughts?:

2003 Chevy Corvette Z06 50th Anniversary Edition in Black Metallic over Ebony Leather Interior with 79K Miles-MSRP New Over $51K-Adult Owned-All Stock-V8 405HP 400 Lbs of Torque, Equipped With Heads Up Display, Bose Premium Sound, Keyless Entry, Z06 Gunmetal Wheels, New Continental Extreme DW Tires, K&N Air Filter, No Modifications, Full Leather, Power Seat, Dual Climate Control, Non-Smoker, Adult Owned, Books, Window Sticker and Much More..The Z06 has Never been Abused, and Always been Serviced-Service Records Available via Carfax..This Z06 has been inspected and Schedule Maintenances have been Completed-Including New Full Synthetic Oil, New Continental Extreme DW Tires, & Newer Front/Rear Brakes. Welcome! I think I would jump on the deal if you really like the car. If the records show that the issue was repaired by GM, I say go for it!

Welcome to CF

Mileage & Lemon buy-back hurts value no matter what. Remember someday you will be the seller.

I'd say 15-17.5 max if VIN history at dlr resolved the issue. I've seen 03 w/no issues at 17.5 - just high miles.

Best to discuss on C5 Discussion with link given. Good luck.
