I have always been a lover of american muscle. There is absolutely nothing better to me than the looks, roar, smell, and feel of a american pony car. Since the age of 15 I have owned mustangs built for the 1/4 mile. It was not until I owned a 05 Wrx STI that I fell in love with the thrill of taking corners at unbelievably controlled high speeds. The "ONLY" problem I had with this car is, the car just did not have that american muscle car roar. Thanks to a lot of luck, I was able to buy my first Vette. The car is a beautiful black targa top 99 c5 that is absolutely immaculate. The car already has a cam, intake, headers, and full exhaust, so the suspension is the only thing I have to fix. The car still has the factory base suspension, which is far from the STI's handling, but I am currently working to revamp that. Really, the suspension doesn't bother me at all because the car makes me smile ear to ear every time I see it.
Glad to be part of the group.

Ha ha! Thanks, I really love this car. The Subaru was fun but it is definitely not the Corvette. Maybe the coolest thing that I found about being a Corvette owner is how great Corvette owners are to each other. The Corvette community has been
great.
