1st time Corvette owner
So I was out minding my own business riding around in a perfectly serviceable (and paid-for) generically boring Hyundai Accent when I saw this rolling piece of automotive art at a small dealership.
A few minutes later I'm in the drivers seat with a big grin plastered on my face taking a test-drive. About an hour after that my poor, cringing Hyundai is gone and the Corvette came home with me. Oh yeah!!
Here she is: 1993 C4. 42k original 1 owner miles. Absolutely flawless condition. All documentation from day 1 included. A catalog from Ecklers and Mid America are already on the way.
The only accessory I've ordered (so far) is a solar shade for the targa top. The original owner didn't include the solid top when he sold it. I live in Florida...the see-through Targa top isn't the best choice for my climate.
As an aside, if anyone has a Polo II Green solid top, I'll trade it straight across for the bronze see-through that's on the car now.
I've been reading through the forum and there is an astonishing wealth of information here. However, if there are things I should look for on a "right-now" basis, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Cheers!!
Lastly...I fear that my motorcycle is going to be collecting a lot of dust very soon.
I just cannot believe how much I'm enjoying this car. I've put 900 miles on it in the last 2 days.
